What I’m wearing affects my mood, and this whole outfit makes me feel powerful like the boss lady I am. Let me introduce to you—Executive Ponies: Showpo’s work-wear range made for the girl bosses that needs office friendly attire without taking away style. The collection is polished and sophisticated that can even be taken from desk to night!

Here's 3 things to carry with you, girl boss. Short and sweet.

Dream big.

  • Believe in yourself. Set high standards. You can achieve whatever your heart desires as long as you believe.

Work hard.

  • Your dreams don’t work unless you do, so keep hustling and always remember that hard work is never unnoticed!

Stay focused.

  • Have a goal—big or small, one or a few. Keep working towards your goal(s) by giving it all you got, and you’ll get where you need to be!

So dream on, dreamer. :)

We’re still slowly transitioning into the fall weather here in southern California, which makes it hard to keep my boho pieces tucked away!

I love my stripes, and this maxi skirt just does it so well. It’s placed both vertically and horizontally with cuts and slits that result to a playful look! To keep the outfit more fall appropriate, I added dark pieces to finish—like a wide brim hat and chunky boots. I’m also obsessed with the style and low cut on the bodysuit; it would definitely be a perfect layering piece when the weather gets colder.

Something about torn down walls, it opens new spaces.

For today’s outfit, I decided to visit the infamous Bates Motel. If you didn’t know by now, this building was formerly known as the Sunset Pacific Motel on Sunset Boulevard. It gained so much attention because the building turned white as a ghost. Locals like to call it the Bates Motel because of the creepy vibes it gives off. If you’ve seen the 1960’s classic, Psycho, then I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. French artist Vincent Lamouroux was responsible for this piece of art. He covered the whole building (including everything that surrounds it) with lime wash, which he calls Projection LA.

Just like this building, my dress is torn apart, but still looks put together in white.

LWD

As obsessed I am with LBDs, so I am with LWDs. The “Little White Dress,” or as I’d like to call the LWD, has been taking over my closet. From slip-ons to maxis, my LWD collection is growing, and fast. It’s just so easy and breezy in the springtime and especially with summer coming up, you can easily transition into the warmer season. A silky skater dress will set you apart from the crowd, along with a statement piece like an elaborate necklace. Such glam!

J'adore

Here's a quick post featuring one of my favorite pieces as of late: The Adore You Jumpsuit from Lovers + Friends!

Lovers + Friends is a contemporary women's label based in Los Angeles that carries some of the prettiest pieces I have ever seen. The simplicity of the piece makes it so chic, and the flattering cut-outs makes it very feminine. Look out world, I'm ready to seize the weekend!

Sunday's Best

A brief update on my life: I literally have no days off. It’s rare when I do, and when that time comes I make sure I spend it wisely. I either spend quality time with loved ones, or schedule shoots (which I did both today!). So, cheers to my Sunday dress: simple and conservative—not the type to show your shape but shows a tad bit of skin with its cutouts.

Cutting Edge

Geometrical cuts on your basics are a total win. My white v-neck is the ultimate upgrade with its fresh cutouts on the shoulders, while my skirt keeps it sexy cool with an asymmetrical slit. Since we’re talking about basics here, I wanted to stay with the casual vibe by wearing my sandals – It kept my feet happy for sure.

Stripe It Down

Stripes: probably the only pattern out there that I don't mind wearing countless times. It’s simple, yet versatile. Keepin' it edgy and cool with black accessories and silver jewelry, then gave it a boho feel with my fringe backpack. This tee is so soft and comfy that it makes me not want to take it off!

White Lady

The shirt dress – one of this season’s must try trend. Its versatile and the possibilities are endless! Dressy or casual, you won’t go wrong. I wore this outfit by dressing it up at the Audrey Magazine Fashion Show about a month ago. When the weather gets hotter, I would definitely style it down for the festival or even a beach day.

Springtime Fine

Spring time means a lot of whites, a little bit of florals, and a little bit of crochet. And there’s nothing better than to prance around the city in my new favorite white romper. I even met a new elephant friend! You’ll see me wearing this coin belt a lot this season that I found a few years back, and this lace up sandals that I’ve been eyeing over ever since last spring!

Off The Shoulder Playsuit from AX Paris / Madden Girl Westmont Bootie from Zooshoo

White lace will be evident in everyone's spring wardrobe. It's feminine, flirty and refreshing - just in time for the warmer days to come. This white lace-y daydream reminds me of an opulent guipure - beautifully embroidered with a vintage pattern on top and floral design on the bottom. I love how it's transparent on the arm area, which makes it look more flirty and fresh. I wanted the lace details to really stand out so I kept the accessories to a minimal.

White Out

I'm the typa gal that appreciates geometric shapes. This white dress is beautifully lined and cut that shows some skin but not revealing much, thanks to the net-like material that covers the arm and chest area. It makes a statement with the bold design, and the white hue gives it a classy vibe. One of my favorite statement necklaces from Zara goes well with this piece because it also has a geometric design in this vintage-y boho piece dresses up the look. I'm wearing the cutest pair of one strap, black and white heels that I got from a while back and I just love how it contrasts. Oh, and did you notice my retro sunnies? It makes the look more sophisticated than it is, but I love going over the top sometimes. Ha! Enjoy loves :)
