Nün Bangkok Festival

Athleisure takes Coachella!

For this year’s Coachella, I got the opportunity to partner up with Nün Bangkok!

Nün Bangkok incorporates edgy elements with comfortable and light weight garments—redefining athleisure to a whole new level. Each collection represents the strong and stylish woman, without having to sacrifice comfort. Each design is unique, with great attention to detail.

The pieces were perfect for the festival, standing out from the more bohemian outfits that we see there!

Talking about the festival, here are a few of my favorite performances:

  • Gallant: He put his heart and soul to each song and it was such a pleasure watching him – with surprise guest Jhené Aiko to perform Skipping Stones.
  • Snakehips: It was my 4th time seeing them live and they never disappoint, they just get better and better every time! They brought out Tinashe as a surprise guest for the song All My Friends.
  • Ice Cube: Probably one of the most sought out artists for this year – he brought out The Game, Dr. Dre and Kendrick Lamar!
  • Flume: The first time I saw him live was two years ago at Coachella 2014, performing in one of the smaller stages, so I was really excited to see him again this year! He brought out Vince Staples and Kučka to perform Smoke & Retribution, Kai for Never Be Like You and Tove Lo for Say It to end his set.

Needless to say, it was a great Coachella overall, and I can't wait for next year!

Reminding myself from time to time that less is more. I love accessorizing so much that sometimes I forget to appreciate a beautiful piece. For this outfit, I wanted all the focus on the shirt dress. I kept it minimal so that the smallest of details are highlighted: the flowy sheer material, the long slits and the silver rings on the sleeve. Simple, but sophisticated.

Black File: Nail Social

"To all my ladies in the place with style (and nails!)" ♫

If you’re looking for a place to get pampered during your “me time,” you should definitely check out Black File located in Fountain Valley, CA.

Black File prides itself as a “nail social”—a place where you can bring the girls and have a fun time. It’s definitely not your typical nail salon. Right when you walk in, you’re greeted with a friendly staff and incredibly chic interior.

There's a small boutique by the entrance where you can shop (yes, you heard that right!), which makes the experience more delightful. Where else can you get your nails done and shop at the same time?! You can spoil yourself two ways in one place!

There’s also a lounge area in case you brought your boyfriend with you ;)

When it came to my nails, Jordan always kept them looking flawless. For my previous visits I’ve gotten my nails done with her, I had broken nails left and right. However, she managed to fix them up no matter what state they were in and I never have to worry!  She was extremely delicate with my hands compared to the past salons I’ve been to. She’s also very meticulous on getting the design right. And being the perfectionist that I am, I loved that about her.

The boss lady, Laurie, always checked in on her clients and offered drinks like water, juice or coffee. She’s also very helpful when it came to nail designs, etc. at the times I was being indecisive.

Pictured below (dress + top) are a couple of items I snagged at their boutique!

I don’t think I’m going anywhere else for the main reason that my experience was nothing short of amazing. They’re currently only taking appointments so go to their website here and book yours today!

Street Chic

Macey Lacey Shorts from Tobi / Backpack from Lamoda / Necklace from Sparkles & Pop / Shoes from Cici Hot

Leather is a staple in my closet. It gives my outfit touch of toughness, and I like that. These pair of shorts from Tobi is the perfect match with your favorite basics for a minimalistic look with a bad gal twist. I love the lace detail on the sides to add some femininity. This is what I would call my uniform – monochromatic outfits are my daily wear.
